Whether it’s because they’ve strung together a pair of wins in a row or Lamar Jackson’s status is up in the air, the Pittsburgh Steelers open as a 1.5-point favorite on the lines for this week’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers have a -124 money line, according to odds posted by FanDuel Sportsbook.

The over/under total for the contest is 38 points.

The AFC North rivalry is one of the most contentious the league has to offer. The series has featured physical brawls where both defenses were as stout as could be and memorable postseason matchups.

Pittsburgh has come out on top in each of the teams’ last four meetings, with the Ravens’ last win in the series coming in December 2019. Devlin Hodges was the Steelers’ starter under center, going 9-for-25 for 95 yards. Benny Snell paced the effort on the ground with 21 carries for 130 yards.

For Baltimore, Justin Tucker nailed four field goals, Justice Hill punched it in on the ground, and Jordan Richards jumped on a fumble in the endzone in a 28-10 win.

The Steelers appear to be turning things around after coming off of wins against Indianapolis and Atlanta. Baltimore has won five of its last six, the only blemish during that time frame being a one-point loss on the road at Jacksonville.

Baltimore sits atop the division standings with an 8-4 record, three games ahead of the Steelers. This is the first of two clashes between the teams, as they’ll also play on New Year’s Day in Baltimore.

The Steelers have won four straight games against the Ravens, with the last Baltimore victory coming in 2019. Since the club moved from Cleveland in 1996, the Steelers are 32-24 against the Ravens.
