Odds: Steelers Favorites for Week 4 against Indianapolis Colts
The Pittsburgh Steelers open as 1.5-point favorites over the Indianapolis Colts, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The Steelers have -122 odds on the money line. The Colts are +102. The over/under point total for the game is 39 points.
The Steelers are coming off a 20-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers at Acrisure Stadium, while the Colts beat the Chicago Bears, 21-16, on Sunday, earning their first win of the season.
The Steelers and Chargers went under their total (36.5) on Sunday and would have gone under this week’s number, as well. The Steelers have out-scored their opponents 51-26 through three games.
The defense has absolutely dominated, allowing 10 or fewer points in each game, for the first time in over 50 years. Pittsburgh has surrendered only six points in the second half of games. A lot of people say the Steelers win ugly, but this defense is legit. The Chargers had -5 yards in the second half.
“We knew it was going to be an entertaining game. They’re playing great defense. We were playing great defense. We had to challenge our defense to out-perform theirs. I thought they did,” Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said after the game.
“We had a commitment to the run game. Obviously, they came in with the league’s leading rusher and the No. 1 offense and our offense had to out-rush theirs, and we did, and that’s why the game unfolded the way it did.
“I’m just appreciative of the efforts of the guys. It was a fight, though, man. These guys are obviously well-coached and a talented group. It didn’t happen instantly. We had to stay in it. But that’s life and definitely life in the NFL.”

The Steelers were 10-8 against the spread last season and had 11 games go under their total and seven over. The Steelers have went under the point total in all three games this season.
The Steelers lost to the Colts, 30-13, in their Week 13 contest last year. The Colts rushed for 170 yards, while Mitch Trubisky threw two interceptions and ultimately was benched for Mason Rudolph.
The Colts will be without Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner for their Week 4 matchup against the Steelers. The Colts placed Buckner on injured reserve due to a sprained ankle in their Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers, so he’ll be out for at least the next four weeks. Taven Bryan and Raekwon Davis will fill in for Buckner at DT.
It will be the third straight season that the Steelers play the Colts in Indianapolis. The Steelers defeated Indy, 24-17, in 2022.
