The Pittsburgh Steelers are underdogs to make the 2022 NFL Playoffs, according to odds released Monday from BetOnline.com.
The Steelers odds to make the playoffs are at +275 and to not make the playoffs at -350. The Steelers have the lowest odds to make the playoffs in the AFC North, with both the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals at -130 to make the playoffs, and +100 to miss the playoffs. There are no odds for the Cleveland Browns as the trade for Deshaun Watson changed the outlook for the team.

The Steelers possessing the lowest odds in the division isn’t too surprising with the loss of long-time quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger. It seems that the bookies don’t believe that the Steelers have a great chance a drafted quarterback or recently signed, Mitch Trubisky.
Still, the team has a great defense, with NFL Defensive Player of the year linebacker T.J. Watt, and All-Pro players in defensive lineman Cameron Heyward and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick that will lead the way. While the bookies, might not be high on the Steelers, a +275 bet isn’t a bad one by any metric, and could reap in good rewards if the Steelers make it back for a third consecutive season.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the highest odds in the NFL to make the postseason again, with -600 to make it and +400 to not make it. The Houston Texans, conversely, have the lowest odds in the league to make the postseason, with +1000 to make it and -2000 to not make it.
