Panini Releases First Kenny Pickett Steelers Trading Card
Panini America has released the first-ever Kenny Pickett trading card online as a part of their 2022 NFL Instant Draft Collection.
According to Panini, the collection will “feature stage images for those attending the NFL Draft and collegiate images for those who do not. All cards will feature each player’s new NFL team and logo! Most Panini Instant cards will be available in a Base version numbered to the amount sold, a purple and pink parallel numbered to 25, a versicolor parallel numbered to 5, and a black one-of-one available on a first come basis. In most cases, cards are shipped to consumers within 20-25 business days after the ordering window expires.”
Pickett was the first-round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2016-2021 and started for four seasons at the university. He led the team to their first-ever ACC title this past season while finishing in third of the Heisman voting which is awarded to college football’s top player. Pickett threw for 42 touchdowns and only seven interceptions last season. He also set a school record for most passing yards in a single season with 4,319.
His jersey is also available for order as the team announced that he will be wearing the same No. 8 he wore in college. Previously that number was worn by safety Karl Joseph.
