Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes now shares an impressive playoff statistic with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

In the Chiefs victory over the Steelers, Mahomes became just the second quarterback in NFL playoff history to throw for 400-plus yards and throw five or more touchdowns in a single playoff game.

Patrick Mahomes is one of only two quarterbacks in NFL history with 400-plus passing yards and 5-plus passing touchdowns in a single playoff game. The other is Ben Roethlisberger, who did so in January of 2018.

The only other quarterback to do that was Roethlisberger, who did it in the AFC Divisional round against the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 14, 2018. He threw for 469 yards on 37 of 58 passing and had five touchdowns as well in the 45-42 loss.

Mahomes threw for 409 yards on 30 of 39 passing and five touchdowns in the 42-21 win, Sunday night in the AFC Wild Card round.
