Pittsburgh Maulers Release 2023 Regular Season Schedule

Pittsburgh Maulers

The Pittsburgh Maulers announced their 10-game 2023 regular season schedule Tuesday morning, a slate that includes six games in Canton, Ohio.

The Maulers will open their season against the New Orleans Breakers in Birmingham, Ala., on April 16. The next week, they’ll face off with their hub partners, the New Jersey Generals, in a noon game outside the Pro Football Hall of Fame at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

On April 30, Pittsburgh will play the Philadelphia Stars at Ford Field in Detroit, then return home on May 7 to host the Birmingham Stallions.

Each of the Maulers’ final four games will be at home — against the Stars (May 27), the Houston Gamblers (June 3), the Michigan Panthers (June 10), and the Generals (June 17).

Along with the rest of the USFL, the Pittsburgh Maulers played their regular season games in Birmingham last year. It was announced last month that they would be playing and practicing in Canton this time around.

The team also changed its colors to match those of the other professional teams in Pittsburgh. Former Steelers assistant Ray Horton will be at the helm for the Maulers, who went 1-9 in 2022.

As of now, FOX Bet has the Maulers with the longest odds (+800) to win the league’s title. The Stallions (+300) are the favorite, with the Generals (+325), Breakers (+500), and Memphis Showboats (+500) following.
