Steelers CB Levi Wallace Leaves Game With Concussion

Steelers CB Levi Wallace Buffalo Bills

BUFFALO — Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace left Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills with an undisclosed injury. He came into the week listed on the injury report with a foot injury. However, he left today’s game after entering the concussion protocol.

After going down on a knee after one play, Wallace came off the field and was immediately escorted into the Steelers’ locker room. At this point, Wallace’s return is questionable, but it is likely that he will be ruled out for the rest of the game.

With Wallace out, for now, the Steelers are down to James Pierre and Josh Jackson as their two outside cornerbacks. Cam Sutton already left with a hamstring injury and Ahkello Witherspoon already was out for the game with a hamstring injury.

Thus, Pittsburgh is extremely shorthanded in the secondary with Terrell Edmunds out at safety as well. Heading into the rest of the game and next week’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Steelers’ secondary will continue to be banged up.
