Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is last in the NFL in an important quarterback metric, but he’s not the first Steelers passer to get off to a rocky start to his career.

Kenny Pickett’s passer rating of 66.7 is the lowest in the league.

In his first four career games, Kenny Pickett has a 2-7 touchdown-interception ratio. The only other rookie quarterback to throw five-plus interceptions in their first four career games (and play in at least four games) with the Steelers was Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw, who would go on to win four Super Bowls for the Steelers. Hall of Famer Peyton Manning threw eight interceptions in his first three career games of full action and finished the season with an NFL rookie record 28 interceptions.

Nick Kostos of WFAN Sports Radio in New York City thinks Kenny Pickett is similar to a young Eli Manning. “Pickett is gonna be awesome. Early growing pains. Reminds me a little of a young Eli Manning,” Kostos said on Twitter.

Ben Roethlisberger had Charlie Batch as a guest on his latest Footbahlin podcast. The two former quarterbacks watched the Steelers-Dolphins game live during the podcast.

ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky is convinced that Matt Canada doesn’t run more than 10 plays a game.

Former Steelers offensive lineman Trai Essex was frustrated with how the Steelers let the game against the Dolphins slip away. “I slept very angrily last night. That game pissed me off. It would be one thing if we just didn’t have the talent. But that’s not the case. We played dumb football last night,” Essex said on Twitter.

The four dropped interceptions by the Steelers against the Dolphins on Sunday night were the most by any defense in a single game this season, according to PFF.

Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson will call the Steelers-Eagles game on Sunday for CBS.

The Steelers haven’t won a game in Philadelphia since October of 1965. It’s a stretch of nine consecutive losses in the City of Brotherly Love.

Colin Cowherd of FS1 thinks this is a year of discovery for the Steelers. “It’s bumpy and you should lose … This could be the ugly year with four wins,” Cowherd said.

There have been 51 different running backs with at least 15.2 PPR points in a game this season. Najee Harris is not one of them, according to Josh Larky of The 33rd Team.

PFF projects that the Steelers will trade Chase Claypool to the Green Bay Packers for a 2023 third-round pick.

Nate Burleson broke down George Pickens’ incredible touchdown grab against the Dolphins on Good Morning Football. “He is going to be a primetime wide receiver in this league,” Burleson said. “You know he is doing his thing when there’s rumors floating around about Chase Claypool being on the trade market … Chase Claypool just got there.”

Jerome Bettis will appear on a Ghostbusters-themed Halloween special with Peyton and Eli Manning. The episode will air on ESPN2 following Monday Night Football on Oct. 31.
