🏈 Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown thinks Kenny Pickett possibly being the Steelers’ starting quarterback in 2024 is a legitimate concern.

🏈 Warren Sharp of Sharp Football shared every catch from George Pickens’ final two regular-season games with targets. In those two games, Pickens recorded 11 receptions for 326 yards, 2 touchdowns, 29.6 yards/reception, 21.7 yards/target and 15 targets. He wasn’t targeted in the Week 18 monsoon in Baltimore.

🏈 Warren Sharp also blasted the Steelers for how they used George Pickens in 2023.

🏈 The Steelers History account on X posted a throwback of when Ben Roethlisberger was at the NFL Combine in 2004.

🏈 Steelers president Art Rooney II released a statement on the passing of former Steelers linebacker Andy Russell.

“We are saddened by the news of the passing of Andy Russell. Andy was part of the foundation of the great Steelers teams of the 1970’s. He was one of the few players who Coach Chuck Noll kept on the team after he became our head coach in 1969. Andy was the team captain and his leadership was a critical part of Coach Noll’s development of the 70’s Steelers which paved the way to 4 Super Bowl Championships. We were excited to induct Andy into our inaugural Steelers’ Hall of Honor class in 2017. Andy went on to have a very successful career in business after his playing days and was a constant presence in the Pittsburgh Community. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Cindy, and the Russell Family.”

🏈 Former Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward paid tribute to Andy Russell.

“R.I.P. to the GREAT Andy Russell! Thoughts and prayers to the Russell Family,” Ward wrote on X.

🏈 Daniel Jeremiah’s player comp for Washington wide receiver Romo Odunze is Larry Fitzgerald. Odunze met with several teams at the NFL Combine, and one of them was Pittsbrgh, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Rapoport added that Pittsburgh, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams are potential trade up teams.

Happy Birthday to former Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes, born on March 3, 1984 in Bell Glades, Florida.

During his time in Pittsburgh, Holmes helped lead the team to a Super Bowl and catch the game winning touchdown to knock off the Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII. However, his time with the team ended abruptly after he was traded to Jets following an incident in a nightclub.

While Holmes only played from 2006 to 2009 with the team, he left his mark as a key player in the Super Bowl run and beyond. So, when Holmes retired, he bought fully into the motto that once you are a member of the Steelers, you always are a member of the Steelers. Since that moment, Holmes has been around the team and practices.

πŸŽ₯ Old Time Football shared a clip of former Steelers linebacker Jack Lambert picking off Joe Montana in 1981.
