๐Ÿˆ Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields thinks the refs cheated when the Bears played the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football in his rookie season in 2021. Outside linebacker Cassius Marsh, who played with the Steelers in 2020, did a roundhouse kick celebration after sacking Ben Roethlisberger on third down late in the game and stared down the Steelers sideline. Marsh was called for taunting, which resulted in a first down for the Steelers. Instead of punting, Chris Boswell made a 52-yard field goal to extend the Steelers’ lead to 26-20. The Steelers ended up winning 29-27.

This is Joe from Vegas.”

๐Ÿˆ The 33rd Team compared Justin Fields’ stats to Kenny Pickett’s. They added the fact that Fields is a year younger than Pickett but has been in the NFL for an extra season.

๐Ÿˆ Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is holding a charity event at Oakmont Country Club for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The highest bidder will get the chance to have a golf outing with Big Ben at the prestigious Oakmont Country Club, all proceeds from the bidding (ends March 5), directly benefiting the organization.

๐Ÿˆ According to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football, the Steelers had 34 drives start at/inside their own 15-yd line in 2023, which was the third-highest mark.

๐Ÿˆ Former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruzย believes the Steelers’ front office should do everything they can to bring Russell Wilson to the Steelers. He went as far as saying that the Steelers would win the AFC North with Wilson as their quarterback

“Russell Wilson wins the division next year if he goes to the Steelers next year, Cruz claimed on The Carton Show.

Former Steelers offensive tackle Willie Colon, who’s also on the show, followed up with a dig at Kenny Pickett.

“Bye bye, small hands,” Colon said emphatically.

๐Ÿˆ Ben Roethlisberger gave advice to young star athletes on how to deal with fans when out in public.

“I figured out early that if I didn’t want to deal with that, that you just don’t go out,” Roethlisberger said on former Steelers backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski’s Alpha 5 Method podcast. “You don’t leave your house. You don’t go to dinner. If you’re not in the mood to deal with it, ’cause the last thing you want to do is go out and give someone a first impression that you’re a jerk. You could have an off day. Everyone has off days. The nicest people in the world have off days.

“They’re going to go tell people. I’ve always realized that when you, if you’re a nice guy to somebody, they might go tell one or two people. ‘Man, I met Ben, he was such a nice guy.’ If you’re a jerk, they’re going to go tell hundreds of people that you’re a jerk. It’s just like anything you get the mass of people that love you, they’re not the loud ones… The few that don’t like you or don’t have something to say, they’re the loudest.

“You just don’t go deal with it. If you’re not in the mood to deal with it, don’t go out and do that because someone’s first impression of you needs to be who you really are and so, to me, and I’m not saying I was always the nicest or the best because, you’re right, sometimes you’re sitting at dinner with your family, you’re trying to have an intimate conversation or whatever, and it’s always, ‘Hey, one more thing.'”

๐Ÿˆ Mike Greenberg of ESPN believes that Justin Fields would make the Steelers a Super Bowl contender. โ€œYou put Justin Fields on the Steelers, I think they are a Super Bowl candidate.โ€

๐ŸŽ‚ Happy Birthday to Steelers cornerback Darius Rush, born on February 22, 2000 in Kingstree, South Carolina. Rush was fifth-round pick out of South Carolina by the Indianapolis Colts in 2023. He was waived by Indianapolis on August 29 and was claimed by Kansas City a day later. On October 18, the Steelers signed Rush off of the Chiefsโ€™ practice squad. Rush was active for three games in 2023 for the Steelers. He recorded three tackles and a pass defended in the Steelers’ Week 9 win over the Tennessee Titans.

๐ŸŽฅ Steel City Star shared a clip of NFL Films’ intro for the 1983 Steelers yearbook. John Facenda is the narrator.
