The NFL has concluded its hearing into the Deshaun Watson sexual assault allegations, but don’t expect a ruling any time soon.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported that the three-day hearing wrapped on Thursday, but that Sue L. Robinson, who will be making the disciplinary ruling, requested post-trail briefing documents from both sides, which are not due back to her until July 11.

So it will be at least another two weeks before the NFL world finds out if, and for how long, the Cleveland Browns quarterback will be suspended. That is, of course, of great interest to the Pittsburgh Steelers, not just because of how it will impact the Browns, but because the Steelers play in Cleveland in Week 3 on Sept. 22.

The Diontae Johnson contact situation is going to continue to dominate the Steelers’ offseason until it is resolved. WIth the talented receiver entering the last season of his contract, the Steelers have just two months to make a deal to keep Johnson before the start of the regular season, their self-imposed deadline for getting a contract done.

That’s a tradition from Kevin Colbert’s tenure that is expected to carry over under Omar Khan, but will the way the team approaches the wide receiver position be one, as well? Because that could play a large role in how Johnson’s situation gets resolved. Chris Carter with more.

Our Steelers All 90 series continues with strong safety Terrell Edmunds, who returns to his familiar starting spot in 2022, but without a long term deal, and with increased competition, it’s fair to wonder for how long. Saunders

After bouncing around the NFL and around the secondary, cornerback Arthur Maulet has found a home as the Steelers’ slot man. Saunders
