to Steel Curtain Network’s Bradley Locker. The notable participants in the pro day are wide receiver Cam Johnson, linebacker Bryce Gallagher, and quarterback Ben Bryant.

The third stop on the pro day circuit, Ball State and Indiana preceded it and scout Casey Weidl attended Indiana’s pro day on Tuesday. Given the team will be looking to add at least one quarterback through the undrafted free agent process, Bryant has to at least raise some eyebrows. He started at Cincinnati, but transferred to Eastern Michigan, then back to Cincinnati, and finally, ended up at Northwestern.

Bryant played in nine games in 2023 and completed 62.5% of his passes while throwing for 1807 yards and 13 touchdowns to six interceptions. Johnson has some athleticism to embrace. He had a charted path from Vanderbilt to Arizona State to Northwestern, posting his most productive season in his final year. He racked up 715 yards on 54 receptions and added six touchdowns. He is a late-round prospect. Johnson put up a 37-inch vertical and 10-foot-4-inch broad jump.

Meanwhile, Gallagher became the leader of the Wildcats defense and one of the best tacklers in the Big 10. The Steelers could look for him as a special teamer. Over the last two seasons, he posted 220 tackles, with 120 tackles in his final season at Northwestern.
