Steelers DT Larry Ogunjobi Out With Back Injury
BUFFALO — Steelers defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi left the Steelers game against the Buffalo Bills with a back injury after he left at the end of the first quarter and will not return. Ogunjobi was originally listed as questionable to return, but after the halftime break, he was ruled out.
Ogunjobi, who did not play at all on the final series of the first quarter, left the game into the locker room with trainers. What that means for the rest of his game remains to be seen, but it is likely that he is going to be examined and possibly get X-rays in the locker room.
With Ogunjobi now out of the game, it will be Chris Wormley and DeMarvin Leal who must pick up the slack. Pittsburgh is already without star T.J. Watt on the defensive line, and is missing Terrell Edmunds and Ahkello Witherspoon in the secondary. That leaves an already battered defense even more shorthanded against Josh Allen and the electric Bills offense. It is currently 10-3 in favor of Buffalo in the second quarter.
