Steelers Finalize Practice Squad with Three Additions
The Pittsburgh Steelers have finalized their practice squad with the signings of safety Andrew Adams, cornerback Josh Jackson and linebacker Delontae Scott, the team announced Monday.
A six-year NFL veteran, Adams has played in 87 career games with the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Adams has tallied 175 career tackles, seven interceptions, 23 passes defended, six tackles-for-loss and two forced fumbles over his career.
Jackson has appeared in 44 games over his four-year career with the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs.
He has totaled 78 combined tackles, 12 passes defended, two tackles-for-loss and a fumble recovery.
As for Scott, he spent the entire 2021 season on the Steelers’ practice squad. He has appeared in one previous NFL game, the team’s Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers last year.
Now, the Steelers have filled their entire practice squad with 16 players. They have filled it all out and can not add anyone else until they waive another player to clear that space on the practice squad.
