Watch: George Pickens Mosses Falcons Cornerback

Steelers WR George Pickens

ATLANTA — George Pickens continued his ridiculous offseason of combat catches by finally putting someone in another uniform on a poster against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday.

On the opening drive of the Steelers’ preseason finale on Thursday night, Pickens went up and over Atlanta cornerback Natrone Brooks to make yet another spectacular grab.

Pickens tapped both toes down in bounds before going out of bounds at the 1-yard line. Najee Harris punched it in for a touchdown on the next play.

This continues the ridiculous plays that George Pickens has made throughout training camp and the preseason. Pickens made several similar catches against Joey Porter Jr. and Patrick Peterson, including his viral one-handed grab over Porter Jr. in the early stages of training camp.

The Steelers offense already has put up two touchdowns in their first two drives. Pickett, Pickens, and the offense now have five touchdowns in five drives during the preseason. While this play came against mostly backups for the Falcons, it continues to reinforce what the Steelers already know about their team this preseason. Pickens is budding into one of the upcoming young receivers in the NFL. If they can continue this momentum, the Steelers offense can be a force to be reckoned with moving forward.
