Steelers Injury Updates
No T.J. Watt, But Rest of Steelers Healthy for Bills
The Pittsburgh Steelers are nearly fully healthy as they enter their Wild Card playoff game, when it comes to current members of the 53-man active roster, as the club ruled just one player out due to injury on Friday, outside linebacker T.J. Watt.
Watt had been declared out on Tuesday by head coach Mike Tomlin with a left knee injury, so his announcement was not noteworthy, but the Steelers did not put an injury designation on any other player for this week’s game.
Running back Najee Harris (knee), safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee), inside linebacker Elandon Roberts (pec) and defensive tackle Cam Heyward (groin) were all limited at points in practice this week, but fully participated on Friday and are good to go for Sunday’s game.
Left guard Isaac Seumalo (shoulder) did not practice on Friday, but is also expected to play without limitation.
The Steelers are missing the eight players that remain on their injured reserve list, including safeties Trenton Thompson (neck) and Keanu Neal (rib) and linebackers Cole Holcomb (knee) and Kwon Alexander (ankle). All except for Neal have been ruled out for the rest of the season.
