Four Ravens Stars Could Return from Injury vs. Steelers

The Baltimore Ravens got three of their star players back to practice on Wednesday, but it’s not yet clear if they’ll be able to suit up against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey and wide receivers Rashod Bateman and Odell Beckham Jr. were all on the Ravens’ practice field in Owings Mills, Maryland on Wednesday.

Bateman suffered a hamstring injury in the Ravens’ Week 3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts and has been sidelined since.

Beckham was injured in Baltimore’s Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals and has been sidelined ever sine with an ankle issue.

Humphrey has been out since mid-August while recovering from foot surgery and has yet to play in a game this season.

Beckham and Humphrey were listed as limited participants in practice, while Bateman was a full participant. Head coach John Harbaugh has not yet said whether the three will or will not be able to play this week.

“Different guys are in different stages,” Harbaugh said. “As the week goes on, in terms of all the different guys, we’ll see where they’re at for Sunday. But it is good seeing guys get back out.”

The Ravens also appear close to having tackle Ronnie Stanley return from his knee injury. Stanley was limited in practice two days last week, but did not play against the Cleveland Browns. He’s been out since Week 1. Stanley was a full participant on Wednesday.

Zay Flowers was joined in the usual lineup by Nelson Agholor and Devin Duvernay with Bateman and Beckham out. Patrick Mekari started at left tackle in place of Stanley.

Linebacker Odafe Oweh (ankle), tackle Morgan Moses (shoulder) and cornerback Daryl Worley (shoulder) all did not practice on Wednesday.

Daniel Fa’alele replaced Moses at right tackle after his injury. Tavius Robinson started at outside linebacker with Oweh out. Recently signed veteran Kyle Van Noy provided depth.

Running back Justice Hill (foot/hamstring) was also limited on Wednesday. Hill played just seven snaps last week. Gus Edwards is expected to carry the load at running back.
