CLEVELAND — Steelers running back Najee Harris was not pleased after their 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Harris noted that a talk would come in the week following the loss and that the group has many things to fix. According to Harris, they are fixable, but he is tired of the group struggling and winning by the skin of their teeth. He believes the winning style is not sustainable.

“I look like at it like how long is this shit gonna last. It’s a good record but this is the NFL. Winning like how we did is not going to get us nowhere,” Harris said.

Pittsburgh admitted they have not done enough to win football games consistently, and Najee Harris is at the front of that thought. Outside of Jaylen Warren’s 74-yard spark, the offense appeared dormant for nearly the entire game against one of the league’s top defenses, and they fell short, not being able to pull out the one drive to get them over the hump for a victory.

After two straight weeks of getting off to a fast start, the Steelers spent most of the afternoon digging themselves out of an early hole. They got out of it, but could never close for the win despite a solid defensive performance. Harris is unsure what he can say about the offense, but the struggles continue. They are the same questions each week, and the passing offense has regressed dramatically.

That is the bottom line at this point. Pittsburgh has no answer to their passing game struggles, whether that is personnel-related or schematic. It’s probably both. But the group keeps going backward, and their path to the playoffs, even if it is not hard, remains murkier than ever because of an offense that can not get out of its way.
