Steelers QB Kenny Pickett No. 4 in NFL Jersey Sales
The NFL released the top 10 best-selling jerseys in the league this year on Wednesday, and Steelers’ first-round pick Kenny Pickett came in at No. 4. Pickett was behind just Raiders’ wide receiver Devante Adams, Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen and Broncos’ quarterback Russell Wilson. Pickett was the only rookie in the top 10.

Pickett broke Dan Marino’s passing records at Pitt and led the Panthers to their first ACC title, so it’s not surprising that his jersey is flying off the shelves in Pittsburgh and across Steelers Nation.
Pickett is also very personable and likable, which was showcased on The Pat McAfee Show earlier this week. McAfee described it best just how much Pickett means to the city of Pittsburgh.
“The amount of success he had at the University of Pittsburgh is unprecedented,” McAfee said. “He is the guy coming out of the University of Pittsburgh Panthers operation. And Pitt has kind of found a resurgence with him at the helm, so everyone loves him around the town.”
Pickett was just ahead of Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady on the best-selling jersey list, so the Pitt Football account on Twitter had some fun by tweeting “Kenny Pickett > Tom Brady #H2P.” The Steelers would feel fortunate if Pickett has as a quarter of the success that Brady’s had in his career.
