A report from Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network indicated Friday evening that the Pittsburgh Steelers had worked out former Eagles and Dolphins running back Jordan Howard, among others.

Howard is a 27-year old running back with six years of NFL experience. He’s started 52 games with 4,361 rushing yards on 1,018 carries. He’s scored on 37 rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns off 85 receptions of 128 targets for 653 receiving yards.
The workout does indicate the Steelers have interest in adding another running back after they signed former Tennessee Titans running back Jeremy McNichols Tuesday. Howard would be the Steelers’ most experienced running back if signed, but does come with a recent knee injury in 2021 that made him miss two games in the middle of the season.
