The 2019 Pittsburgh Steelers season officially gets underway tomorrow with the opening of training camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe.
The big news during the off-season was the departures of former fan favorites Pro Bowl players Antonio Brown and LeVeon Bell. Despite those loses, the Steelers roster is filled with popular names like James Conner, JuJu Smith-Schuster, T.J. Watt, Ben Roethlisberger and others.
On the eve of the start of camp, Steelers Now would like to know who is your current favorite player on the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Poll: Will You Still Buy Madden 21 with Lamar Jackson on the Cover?
Baltimore Ravens quarterback and 2020 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson is going to grace the cover of the Madden 21 video game.
Does the presence of a Raven make you less likely to buy it?
— Lamar Jackson (@Lj_era8) June 16, 2020
While most fans probably won’t let who’s on the cover stop them from buying the latest edition of the legendary sports video game franchise, Steelers fans can hope that Lamar Jackson’s appearance curses the Ravens, much like it has for cover athletes in the past. Pittsburgh knows that history all too well with the drama that ensued after Madden awarded Antonio Brown the cover.
Poll: What Will the Steelers Record be in 2020?
Last night, in an event full of pomp and circumstance, the NFL has released its 2020 schedule.
Now it’s time for speculation and way-too-early judgments on which teams will be better, or worse, than last season’s records would indicate.
Despite opening the season on the road for the sixth straight season, the Steelers will get to play the relatively weak NFC East and the AFC South.
On paper, it looks like a favorable draw for the Steelers. They will play four of their first six games in the friendly confines of Heinz Field and their opponents have the second lowest average winning-percentage based on last year.
After a stop over in New York to start things off, the Steelers will play at home against the Broncos and Texans. A road game against the Titans is sandwiched between two more home games versus the Eagles and Browns. The Steelers second half schedule features a trip to Dallas, a home date with the Ravens and a trip to Buffalo, but also a lot of cellar-dwellers in the Bengals, Jaguars, Redskins and some .500 clubs like the Browns and Colts.
Our 2020 season schedule has arrived!

Will the Steelers, with the return of a top five defense and a healthy Roethlisberger, be able to improve on last year’s 8-8 record?
How many wins can you find? Are you an optimist, a pessimist or a “wait and see” type of fan?

Poll: Grade the Steelers 2020 Draft Haul
The Pittsburgh Steelers, along with the rest of the NFL, have wrapped up the 2020 NFL Draft. The team had six total draft picks (but no first-rounder). With the six picks, they selected Notre Dame wide receiver Chase Claypool, Charlotte linebacker Alex Highsmith, Maryland running back Anthony McFarland, Jr., Louisiana guard Kevin Dotson, Maryland safety Antoine Brooks, Jr. and Nebraska defensive lineman Carlos Davis.
According to Pro Football Focus, the Steelers graded out at a pedestrian B-. Undoubtedly the grade suffered because of a lack of first-round pick, because PFF wasn’t unhappy with the Claypool, Highsmith and Dotson picks in particular.
What do you think? How would you grade the Steelers 2020 Draft, particularly in light of the fact that the team, in their own words, used their first-round pick on Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Give them a grade.
