Previewing the 2024 Steelers Offense

Previewing the 2024 Pittsburgh Steelers offense under new OC Arthur Smith with Derrick Bell and Nick Martin.

With training camp underway, we got our first sneak peak of the new-look Arthur Smith offense. Given the timeline of things, this feels like the appropriate time for a deep dive on the offensive side of the ball as a whole. With an entirely fresh quarterback room, a young offensive line and questions are the receiver position, there’s plenty of intrigue around how all of this will play out. One thing is for sure though. If the Pittsburgh Steelers want to be taken seriously in the AFC, their offense much be much more potent than it has been in recent seasons.

SN analyst Derrick Bell is joined by Nick Martin of All Steelers to preview the 2024 Steelers offense. What does Russell Wilson bring to the table and how can Pittsburgh put him in the best situation to succeed? How will the running backs be deployed in Smith’s run-heavy oriented offense predicated on outside zone? We know George Pickens will be the focal point of the passing game but what do the best versions of Roman Wilson and Calvin Austin III look like? We also touched on our biggest worries with this new offensive line group as well as the players that we are most looking forward to seeing during the preseason.
