Jackson is now under contract through the 2022-23 season and make upwards of $23 million in the final year of his rookie deal.
The 2019 NFL MVP, Jackson holds a 30-7 regular season record as a starter, but has won just a single playoff game in his career.
Jackson has thrown for 7,085 yards and 68 touchdowns with 18 interceptions over his career, while completing 64% of his passes.
An improving passer, Jacksonâs signature trait is still his legs. He has rushed for 2,906 yards and 19 touchdowns in three seasons.
The Ravens and Jackson will now turn their attention towards bashing a long-term contract extension that will keep the former Heisman Trophy winner in Baltimore for years to come. It will likely be the largest contract in franchise history upon its completion.
