The Baltimore Ravens will be without two of their two pass catchers for at least the first three games of the season.

Baltimore placed wide receivers Rashod Bateman and Miles Boykin short-term injured reserve Wednesday, meaning they will not be eligible to return until Week 4 at the earliest.

Bateman suffered a groin injury in practice back on Aug. 10, and has since underwent surgery. Boykin has sat out since early August with a hamstring ailment.

Selected in the first round of April’s draft out of Minnesota, Bateman was added to provide another weapon for Jackson, as Baltimore continues to try and bolster their passing game.

The Big Ten Receiver of the Year in 2019, Bateman caught 147 passes for 2,395 yards and 19 touchdowns over his three seasons with the Golden Gophers.

Boykin his entering his third year out of Notre Dame. He has caught 32 passes for 464 yards and seven touchdowns over two seasons.
