Ravens Retain All-Pro Offensive Tackle in Massive Deal
The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with their All-Pro offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley on a new three-year deal.

While the Pittsburgh Steelers are left in limbo with their free-agent quarterbacks, their AFC North rival has figured out one of their biggest offseason questions. Reports have surfaced that the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a three-year extension with their All-Pro offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley.
Stanley, who was selected sixth overall by the Ravens in 2016, will continue his career in Baltimore. The Ravens’ offseason priority is now solved as Lamar Jackson’s blindside will be protected. This comes after outlets predicted the Steelers to be in play for Stanley.
Stanley’s market likely would have been a strong one as the nine-year veteran was coming off of a Pro Bowl season. Additionally, Baltimore saw one of their most productive offensive seasons and will want to keep that unit intact.

The Steelers have offensive line issues of their own to work out, however, they still don’t know who their quarterback will be. It may go a number of ways once the legal tampering period opens up on Monday.
As it stands, the Ravens’ offseason has taken a positive step forward and continues another season of Alex Highsmith vs Stanley–an underrated heavyweight battle in the league.
