The extension makes Andrews the highest-paid tight end in the league on a per-year basis at $14 million.
Selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma, Andrews has been the favorite target of quarterback Lamar Jackson since arriving in Baltimore.
Jackson has thrown more touchdown passes (17) to Andrews than any other player.
Andrew has caught 156 passes for 2,105 yards and 20 touchdowns over his three-year career. He was selected to his first and only Pro Bowl in 2019.
Coincidentally, the contract extension also comes on Andrews’ 26th birthday.
