The Baltimore Ravens are now officially Lamar Jackson’s team.

This morning, Adam Schefter of ESPN was first to report that the Ravens have agreed to trade Flacco to the Denver Broncos for a mid-round pick. The speculation is that the Ravens will receive a 4th round pick from Denver.

Because the league’s calendar doesn’t officially start until March 13, the trade can’t be officially announced.

The Broncos signed Case Keenum as a free agent last year but that experiment failed so John Elway is hoping Flacco can have success until they acquire their quarterback of the future.

In 11 years with the Ravens, Flacco started 163 games and threw for over 38,000 yards and 212 touchdowns.

The Broncos are taking on Flacco and his 6-year contract, which is in its third year and worth $125 million. Trading Flacco will free up $16 million of available cap space but will also create over $10 million in dead money.

Flacco started the first nine games last season before getting injured and eventually replaced by Jackson.

Here’s something to keep in mind:

Over The Last 3 Seasons-
Joe Flacco: (41 starts) 50 TD’s, 34 INTs, 63.8 Completion %, 82.6 QB Rating, 242 yards/game

Case Keenum: (41 starts); 49 TD’s, 33 INTs, 63.8 Completion %, 86 QB Ratings, 235 yards/game
