Mixon did not return after injuring the ankle in Cincinnati’s Thursday night win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has rushed for 353 yards and two touchdowns on the year.
With Mixon recuperating, the Bengals are expected to turn to veteran running back Samaje Perine and rookie Chris Evans.
