Johnson is a major upgrade for a Browns defense that finished 22nd against the pass a season ago. Cleveland also allowed 31 touchdown passes.
Johnson was ranked the third-best safety in the league by Pro Football Focus for his performance in 2020.
Selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Boston College, Johnson has played his entire four-year career in Los Angeles to this point.
Johnson tallied 350 combined tackles and eight interceptions as a Ram.
