Report: Eagles Eyeing Brandon Hunt for Front Office Position
Steelers pro scouting coordinator Brandon Hunt is considered one of the frontrunners to be the franchise’s next general manager, but he does have suitors elsewhere if he does not get promoted in Pittsburgh.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane, the Eagles are interviewing Hunt for a still unknown position in their own front office.
The Eagles made some significant changes to their front office this past week, including firing Director of Scouting Operations Casey Weidl.
Hunt began his career as an intern with the Steelers before joining the Texans as a scout from 2007-2009. He returned to Pittsburgh in 2010, and has served as the club’s pro scouting director ever since.
A Pittsburgh native, Hunt attended Pine-Richland before playing collegiately at IUP.
Hunt interviewed for the Eagles’ Vice President of Player Personnel opening in 2016.
In addition, the Eagles have also reportedly interviewed Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy for a high-ranking front office role as well.
