Report: JuJu Smith-Schuster Talking to New York Jets
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster remains unsigned four days into free agency, but that could be changing soon.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Smith-Schuster has reportedly been having conversations with the New York Jets.
Interesting development in the WR market: The #Jets have been having conversations with #Steelers FA WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, sources say, a potential target in their offense. Despite having signed Corey Davis, NYJ may not be done adding playmakers. Smith-Schuster is one to watch.

The Jets already signed former Tennessee Titans wideout Corey Davis to a three-year, $37.5 million deal earlier this week, but do not appear to be satisfied with their offensive weapons just yet.
Not only do the Jets still have money to spend, but it just so happens quarterback Sam Darnold used to be Smith-Schuster’s at Southern California.
Smith-Schuster caught 70 passes for 914 yards and ten touchdowns from Darnold in 2016.
Smith-Schuster led the Steelers with 97 receptions in 2020, while also tallying 831 yards and nine touchdowns.
Selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Smith-Schuster has 293 receptions, 3,565 yards and 24 touchdowns as a Steeler. He was selected to his first and only Pro Bowl in 2018.
