Randle El served as an offensive assistant with the Buccaneers last season, and is now headed back to the city where he won Super Bowl XL with the Steelers in 2006.
Selected in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft out of Indiana, Randle El spent the first four years of his playing career in Pittsburgh. He returns for a single season before retiring in 2010.
Randle El caught 184 passes for 2,265 yards and seven touchdowns with Pittsburgh.
A former quarterback for the Hoosiers, Randle El also had seven career passing touchdowns, with the most famous coming in Super Bowl XL, a 43-yard score to fellow wideout Hines Ward.
