Report: Mike Tomlin, Staff Forced to Leave Facility After COVID Positives

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and members of his coaching and scouting staff were sent home from the team facility due to several positive tests for COVID-19, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The decision was done out of an abundance of caution. It is unclear which members of his staff were asked to leave the facility and there is no word on who tested positive.

Tomlin and his staff are working to retool the roster while dealing with tons of uncertainty around key players, most notably quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert addressed the future of the team during his media session earlier in the day.
