Report: Ravens Shut Down Facility Until Monday, Sunday’s Game in Doubt

The Baltimore Ravens are shutting down their practice facility until Monday at the earliest, according to report on Thursday by Adam Schefter of ESPN, in response to continued COVID-19 positive cases amongst the team.

Schefter reported that four more players tested positive on Thursday. NFL Network reported that Thursday’s positives included star quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens have had their facility shut down since Monday, when the full extent of their outbreak first started to develop.

The Week 12 game between an Ravens an Pittsburgh Steelers was originally scheduled for Thursday night at Heinz Field and has already been pushed back to Sunday at 1:15 p.m.

The Ravens closing their facility until Monday puts that rescheduled date in significant doubt. The NFL can push the game back again as far as Tuesday night and still have it considered to be played in Week 12.
