The Steelers Week 4 game with the Tennessee Titans will not be played in the wake of additional positive COVID-19 tests amongst Titans players and staff.

The game had already been postponed from its scheduled 1 p.m. Sunday kickoff time to either Monday or Tuesday.

The postponement was announced as the teams awaited the results of Tennessee’s second round of PCR testing on their players and staff members that had been contact traced to positive tests. The Titans’ facility will remain closed until at least Saturday.

If the game is rescheduled, the most likely scenario is that it will be played in Week 7, which was Tennessee’s bye week. The Steelers scheduled game with the Baltimore Ravens can then be moved to Week 8, which was both of those team’s bye weeks.
