The Steelers will re-sign versatile offensive line John Leglue to their practice squad, according to a report by Brooke Pryor of ESPN.

Leglue was with the team’s practice squad in 2020 and was one of the final cuts as the Steelers got down to the 53-man roster limit on Tuesday. Leglue played tackle, guard and center for the Steelers this training camp and should be a versatile backup on the practice squad.

An undrafted free agent out of Tulane in 2019, Leglue latched onto a few practice squads around the league before finding his way to Pittsburgh in December of 2020.

The Steelers can add a total of 16 players to their practice squad for the 2021 season. Leglue joins cornerback Mark Gilbert and running back Jaylen Samuels as players that have signed so far.
