Per Schefter, Washington is unhappy with the amount of playing time he received last season and early this preseason.
Washington caught 30 passes for 392 yards and five touchdowns a season ago. According to Pro Football Reference, he played 44% of the Steelers’ offensive snaps.
He has totaled 90 receptions for 1,344 yards and nine scores over his three seasons.
Pittsburgh selected Washington in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State.
