Russell Wilson Leads Best Player Props for Steelers-Giants
The Pittsburgh Steelers come into week 8 not only looking to keep pace with the Baltimore Ravens but also snag another New York win. The Steelers defeated the New York Jets last week in primetime and now host the New York Giants in another primetime matchup. This week, DraftKings Sportsbook has some good player prop bets and specials! Here are a few of our favorites.
Malik Nabers UNDER 5.5 Receptions
Joey Porter Jr. has been outstanding this season. He has continued to match up against each team’s WR1. This week, he will be tasked with locking down Giants rookie sensation Malik Nabers. Nabers has eclipsed 75 yards receiving and over 5 receptions in 3 of his 5 games played. After returning from a concussion last week, he was held to 4 catches for 41 yards. He isn’t an easy task, but we have seen Porter perform well against some of the league’s best.
George Pickens AT LEAST 70 yards receiving
George Pickens had himself quite the bounce-back game. He and Russell Wilson are a match made in deep-ball heaven. The Giants sit in a similar boat as the Steelers’ last opponent. While the pass defense ranks well, the run defense has allowed over 135 yards per game. Wilson’s deep passes opened the run game up significantly; with Pickens benefiting. I would expect similar approaches this week with another banged-up secondary on tap.

DraftKings Player Special: MR. UNLIMITED*
Russell Wilson caught fire after a slow start on Sunday Night. Wilson tossed for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and ran a sneak-in for a touchdown as well. This week, DraftKings features Mr. Unlimited in a player special. The deal? DangeRuss will need to pass for at least 100 yards in BOTH halves.
Game Predictions: Steelers (-6) COVER, teams hit the OVER 36
The last time the Steelers played the Giants, they did so on opening weekend in 2020 on Monday Night Football. The implied score is 21-15 in favor of Pittsburgh. I think the margin will be wider. Steelers win 26-14, covering and hitting the over.
