Most of the ire has been directed at offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, despite the team’s lack of playmaking ability at wide receiver and inability to keep teams from stacking the box against the run has been obvious all year.
It’s been obvious to anyone that general manager Omar Khan dropped the ball in terms of the wide receiver position this offseason, and that without Pickens, this offense would be nearly non-functional from a talent perspective. When did all of that become Smith’s fault?
