Sights & Sounds: Steelers Take Practice to Acrisure Stadium
PITTSBURGH — The weather forecast for this Saturday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens is expected to be cold, with the possibility of snow, so the Pittsburgh Steelers wanted to practice outside in the elements on Wednesday.
With their being a very minimal chance of the team needing to host a home game at Acrisure Stadium again this season, Mike Tomlin bussed the team from UPMC Rooney Sports Complex over to the stadium for the opportunity to practice outdoors without tearing up the grass turf at their practice facility.
Aaron Becker provided reporting from Pittsburgh.
