Steelers Activate DL Carlos Davis from Reserve/Injured List, Elevate OL Chaz Green from Practice Squad
While it may not carry the magnitude of the T.J. Watt news, the Steelers were able to make another move ahead of Sunday’s matchup with Baltimore.
Pittsburgh activated defensive lineman Carlos Davis from the Reserve/Injured List and elevated offensive lineman Chaz Green from the practice squad to the Active/Inactive roster as a COVID-19 replacement, the team announced Saturday.
Davis, who injured his knee in the Steelers Week 1 win in Buffalo, hasn’t played since and was placed on the Reserve/Injured List in late October. He returned to practice last month, which then gave the Steelers three weeks to decide to activate him. Davis was selected by the Steelers in the seventh-round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Green signed with the Steelers before training camp this year. He played in 15 games for the Indianapolis Colts last season.
