Steelers Add 14 to Practice Squad
The Steelers signed 14 players to their practice squad, the team announced on Sunday, out of a maximum of 16.
All 14 players had been in training camp with the Steelers. This season, the NFL authorized an increase to 16-man practice squads from the 10-man units they had in 2019. Six of the 16 can have unlimited NFL experience.
The 14 players signed on Sunday are cornerback Trajan Bandy, defensive end Henry Mondeaux, linebacker Jayrone Elliott, nose tackle Daniel McCullers, offensive linemen Anthony Coyle, Derwin Gray and Jarron Jones, punter Corliss Waitman, running back Trey Edmunds, safeties Antoine Brooks, Jr. and Curtis Riley, tight end Kevin Rader and wide receivers Deon Cain and Amara Darboh.
The Steelers can fill the other two spots whenever they wish.
