Steelers Afternoon Drive: Steelers Fire Canada, Now What?

steelers

Welcome to the Steelers Afternoon Drive, our new daily podcast featuring all the latest Steelers news.

Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith are back to discuss the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Tomlin made the decision to part ways with offensive coordinator Matt Canada on Tuesday. A move that many have been clamoring for dating back to last season as the offense has shown little to no improvement in his tenure. Eddie Faulkner will take over as the offensive coordinator on top of his running back position coach job and QB coach Mike Sullivan will serve as the play-caller on gamedays. Will this move benefit Kenny Pickett, Jaylen Warren and the offense or will we see more of the same for the rest of 2023? Is it a guarantee an outside hire is brought in to take on the role in 2024? The Steelers have made a few additions in the form of Myles Jack, Eric Rowe and Blake Martinez, but should recently waived Shaq Leonard be on their radar as well? Let’s go for another Steelers Afternoon Drive and discuss!
