Steelers Afternoon Drive: Unexpected First Move in OC Search
Welcome to the Steelers Afternoon Drive, our new daily podcast featuring all the latest Steelers news.
Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers kicked off their search for their next offensive coordinator by putting in a request to interview Los Angeles Rams pass-game coordinator Zac Robinson for the position. Being that he has no play-calling experience, he doesn’t necessarily fit the description of what the team said they are looking for in their search, but being that he’s a 37 year old, rising star, his inclusion is promising. We know Shane Waldron will not be the next guy for the steelers, as he’s reportedly accepted the same position with the Chicago Bears. Should we be thinking about this search differently now that Robinson is a part of it? Are Art Rooney II, Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin casting a wider net than we expected? Let’s go for another Afternoon Drive and discuss!
