All 91 is a Pittsburgh Steelers Now series profiling each of the 91 members of the Steelers 2019 training camp roster.
33 • Trey Edmunds, second-year cornerback
Last year: Added to the Steelers practice squad after spending training camp with the New Orleans Saints and was activated for the final four games of the season.
Stats: Did not record any statistics.
Accolades, Highlights:
Camp outlook: Basically would need an injury to unseat one of the Steelers’ top three backs, but Edmunds is a solid rusher that could really stand out in the preseason.
Projected role: It’s hard to imagine the Steelers finding playing time for a fourth running back, but Edmunds has shown the ability to compete at the NFL level. If he doesn’t make the 53-man roster in Pittsburgh, he could catch on elsewhere. Probably a lock for a practice squad spot if he wants one.
