Last year: Added to the Steelers roster late last week, Thomas originally signed out of Baylor as an undrafted free agent with Seattle. Taylor started all 12 games with the Bears in 2018 after transferring from Temple.
Stats: Made 21 tackles, broke up seven passes and had one interception.

Camp outlook: Thomas will get thrown into the fire as the last man on the totem pole at corner.
Projected role: The outlook for guys added after the start of training camp isn’t typically all that positive, but 6-foot-3 corners that run 4.44-second 40-yard dashes have a way of sticking around.
