All 91 is a Pittsburgh Steelers Now series profiling each of the 91 members of the Steelers 2019 training camp roster.
35 • Travon McMillan, rookie running back
Last year: Played 12 games for Colorado after transferring from Virginia Tech before his senior season. Led the Buffaloes in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage.
Stats: Rushed for 1,009 yards on 201 carries — a 5.0 yards per carry average. Also caught 14 passes for 118 yards. Scored eight total touchdowns.
Accolades, Highlights:
Camp outlook: McMillan is toward the back of the Steelers’ deep pack of running backs, but the two-time 1,000-yard rusher at the college level will get opportunities in preseason games to show what he can do.
Projected role: Trey Edmunds is probably the fourth running back on the depth chart, but if he sticks on an NFL roster in Pittsburgh or otherwise, there may be a practice squad spot available.
