Camp outlook: Sheehy fits perfectly into the Steelers’ scheme as a run stuffing 3-4 defensive end or as a sub-package defensive tackle in the mold of Stephon Tuitt.
Projected role: There’s too many guys with experience (Tyson Alualu, Dan McCuller) or upside (sixth-round pick Isaiah Buggs) to see a spot on the 53 for Sheehy if everyone stays healthy. His versatility could be valuable on the practice squad.
