Gotta feel for Kameron Canaday. He's had a rock solid year as the Steelers long snapper. Twisted his knee on the punt, writhing on the ground. Still tries to get up and chase down King at the end. Didn't quit. Hope he can play this weekend. pic.twitter.com/Ea4ajy9s9H

Camp outlook: Trevor Wood is a tight end that can long snap, late addition Christian Kuntz is a linebacker that can long snap and Vance McDonald has done sone snapping, too, so it seems the Steelers aren’t exactly content to just plug Kanaday right back into a full-time job.
Projected role: Unless there’s an unforeseen roster crunch, it would seem crazy to have a kicker that needs to rebound like Chris Boswell does and not give him the best possible unit around him. That’s going to include a full-time snapper like Canaday.
