Steelers OLB Bud Dupree

All 91 is a Pittsburgh Steelers Now series profiling each of the 91 members of the Steelers 2019 training camp roster.

48 • Bud Dupree, fifth-year outside linebacker

Last year: Played in all 16 games and made 15 starts to tie a career high, doing enough for the Steelers to pick up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract.

Stats: Set a career high with 42 tackles. Also made eight tackles for a loss, 5 1/2 sacks, 13 quarterback hits, forced a fumble, defended three passes and had one interception that he returned for a touchdown.

Accolades, Highlights:

Camp outlook: Dupree’s training camp will be focused less on 2018 — when he’ll undoubtedly be the starter — as it will be on what happens in the future, with Dupree playing out the final year of his contract, and no extension in sight.

Projected role: Dupree will start, but it remains to be seen how much he’ll play in the team’s sub packages. With new talents like Mark Barron and Devin Bush, Dupree will have to earn every-down reps.
